At our Kids Collective ECE Centres we are all about keeping it real!
We believe that the early years should be a time of life where children are able to learn, explore and unfold as the unique people they were born to be.
We can't wait to build a relationship with your child and to be part of their lifelong learning journey.
Our philosophy is based on Magda Gerber's RIE approach, where RESPECT sits at the heart of everything we do. We respect our babies, toddlers and young children as people who are unfolding, competent and capable.
We value a Tuākana/Teina approach which provides a model for older children mentoring or guiding younger children. Our children are encouraged to support, lead, teach and guide each other in their learning.
Our Hours
Our ECE Centre is open from 7:30am - 5:30pm.
We encourage enrolments to be a minimum of 4 hours per day and at least 2-3 times a week to ensure your child settles, feels comfortable attending and enjoys spending time with us at our place.
We are flexible and will work with you to find a solution that suits your needs as best we can.
We Provide
Washable Nappies
Caring for the environment is important to us. So we supply and manage washable nappies onsite. You only need to bring one nappy per day for your child to wear home.

lunchboxes are required
with food items for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (as applicable, in line with the times of your child's enrolment).
We pride ourselves on primary caregiving and continuity of care
This means that your child will have one dedicated teacher who is responsible for building a secure attachment relationship with them, and attending to all of their care needs. They are your child's number one squeeze at Kids Collective. The person who knows them best, knows what makes them tick, and what they need when they are not with you.
Our goal is for this primary caregiver to stay with your child for their first three years. So when they transition from our pepi room into the teina room, their caregiver transitions with them too. And this relationship remains a priority until the time comes at approx 3.5 years old when your child is becoming more independent and is ready to make the transition into our Tuākana space.
